Osteoporosis: Addressing the Challenge of Underdiagnosis and Undertreatment

Multimedia

Osteoporosis is an underdiagnosed and undertreated condition. This CME-accredited activity, developed by Covera Health in collaboration with national bone health experts, provides evidence-based strategies to improve the identification and management of vertebral fractures and osteoporosis. Through interactive case-based learning and didactics, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the osteoporosis treatment gap, the importance of identifying vertebral fractures, and best practices for clinical evaluation, risk stratification, and pharmacologic management. Participants will also explore how collaboration between radiology and primary care can support timely diagnosis and intervention to improve the management of this chronic condition in older adults.
