Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicans, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, diabetes educators who care for patients with diabetes.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain the rationale for moving beyond glycated hemoglobin A1C for management of type 2 diabetes (T2D)

  • Discuss the current professional society (e.g. American Diabetes Association) recommendations for CGM use in individuals with diabetes

  • Describe the options for the latest CGM technology

  • Identify the role of CGM in diabetes management, with special focus on insulin treated T2D

  • Develop strategies and workflow to support effective use of CGM in clinical practice

  3. If you wish to receive acknowledgment for completing this activity, please complete the evaluation.
  4. Upon registering and completing the activity evaluation, your certificate will be made available immediately.
  5. Pharmacists/Technicians: Upon successfully completing the activity evaluation, your credit will be submitted to CPE Monitor. Please check your NABP account within thirty (30) days to make sure the credit has posted.
